In early November, Qin joined the Faden Lab as a postdoctoral fellow. Qin received his bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University in China and completed his PhD in Bioengineering at the University of Washington. His PhD focused on developing diagnostic assays for infectious diseases, particularly HIV and COVID-19 in low-resource settings. His long-term research interest is technology development to expand healthcare access in low-resource settings for global health. Welcome, Qin!
