Good news was recieved that the lab will be the recipient of a new NIH R03 grant! The research will study a non-invasive liquid biopsy using detection of cell free DNA to determine how the presence or absence of DNA fragments in blood relates to current methods for diagnosing head and neck cancer and monitoring disease following surgical treatment.
